Heathrow

From Heathrow you can get to central London by train, London Underground, coach or taxi:

Train: Heathrow Express
The fastest link between Heathrow and London. Non-stop trains run to Paddington every 15 minutes, and the journey time is 15 minutes from Terminals 1 and 3 (a few minutes more from Terminals 4 or 5). Tube: London Underground
The most cost-effective rail route to London. The London Underground is also known as the ‘Tube’. Piccadilly Line trains run from all terminals and journey time is 50 – 60 minutes. Find out more: London Underground. Click here to view a London Underground map.

Coach: National Express
Coaches run throughout the day, offering journey times of 40 – 80 minutes to Victoria coach station and many other destinations. Find out more: National Express. From Victoria coach station, it is a short walk to Victoria main station where you can take the London Underground (Victoria, then Piccadilly lines) to Holborn.

Taxi
London taxis are available outside each terminal. The cost to central London is £45 – £70 and the journey time is approximately one hour. Or, book a minicab or chauffeur in advance. Find out more: Taxis, minicabs and chauffeurs.

Gatwick

From Gatwick you can get to central London by train, bus, coach or taxi:

Gatwick Express
A non-stop train service to Victoria runs every 15 minutes with a journey time of 30 minutes. From Victoria you can take the London Underground (Victoria, then Piccadilly lines) to Holborn. Find out more: Gatwick Express.

Southern Trains
Southern trains services to Victoria via East Croydon and Clapham Junction run four times an hour with a journey time of around 35 minutes. From Victoria you can take the London Underground (Victoria, then Piccadilly lines) to Holborn. Find out more: Southern Trains.

First Capital Connect

easyBus
A low-cost frequent airport transfer service runs non-stop from London and Gatwick with prices from £2. Buses depart every 15 minutes at peak times and run throughout the day and night from both North and South terminals to Earls Court/West Brompton in central London. National Express
This direct coach service to London Victoria operates once an hour with a journey time of around 85 minutes. From Victoria you can take the London Underground (Victoria, then Piccadilly lines) to Holborn. Find out more: National Express.

Taxi
