Teaching Realities Across New Spaces: AI in the Digitally Engaged Design Classroom

AI is rapidly transforming the way we teach and learn. The use of AI-powered technologies has unleashed exciting new opportunities and challenges for educators, students, and institutions. This panel discussion will present teaching realities across these new spaces using AI as an integrated design process in the classroom. Panelist will present student product design and experimental typography case studies from 100% online undergraduate and graduate design classes during the spring 2023 semester. The panel discussion will demonstrate how AI is used in the classroom to enhance the teaching and learning experiences, as well as the challenges faced by educators and students implementing these new innovative technologies.
