Zoom lets you change your name before each meeting you enter. By default this is the name on your account, however, you can change it before you join a meeting. When you use a link to join a meeting on Zoom, it will automatically bypass the option to change your name and directly have you join the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Join the meeting.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
You can join a meeting by clicking the buttons on the Schedule page for\u00a0 \u201cRoom A\u201d and \u201cRoom B\u201d. A password will be shared 2 days before the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Check your audio settings.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
On most devices, you can join computer\/device audio by selecting \u201cJoin Audio\u201d, \u201cJoin with Computer Audio\u201d, or \u201cAudio\u201d to access the audio settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please keep your microphone muted when you\u2019re not talking. This will help reduce background noise and increase the quality of sound for the presenter. To do this, select the \u201cMute Microphone\u201d icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Check your video settings.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Please keep your camera on and show your face during the conference to increase the engagement of all participants and speakers.\u00a0To do this, select the \u201cCamera\u201d icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Use a virtual background.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
You can upload your own images or videos as a virtual background, or use nothing and just blur the background instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you would like to enable the Virtual Background feature before the meeting, you can select the icon usually found on the top right corner of the Zoom window and go to \u201cSetting\u201d. Navigate to the \u201cBackground & Filters\u201d and add the image by clicking on the \u2295 (plus) icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you would like to change the Virtual Background during the meeting, click on the \u02c4 (upward arrow) icon beside \u201cStart Video\u201d and add your the image by clicking on the \u2295 (plus) icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Share your reactions.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
You can use zoom reactions on the \u201cReactions\u201d button to show you\u2019re being attentive, in the form of emoji and icons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can tap the \u201cRaise Hand\u201d icon to join voting or before asking questions on the mic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You may also make good use of the chat room by typing your thoughts and questions in as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leave the meeting.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
