About

Digitally Engaged Learning (DEL) is an international conference exploring and evolving digitally engaged teaching and learning practice and pedagogy in art and design Higher Education. By ‘digitally engaged’, we are referring to practices that are actively with, about or located in digital tools and spaces. DEL is a place for creative and critical making, where you will find objects, artefacts, experimental technologies, and performances alongside presentations.

DEL engages important intersections to art and design education as the digital pervades almost all aspects of our practice and increasingly influences the creative, social, and political aspects of teaching and learning. DEL increases the confidence of art and design educators to incorporate digital technologies and network communications into the curriculum in innovative ways that impact the future of our students.
