Peter Benz

Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong

Peter Benz is an associate professor at the Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University, where he also serves as Associate Director (Teaching & Learning). He considers visual arts education as the format and medium of his practice and research as an experiential designer. Besides exploring notions of human experience across a variety of spatial and societal settings, Peter has track record in development of tools for digitally engaging teaching, e.g. an Online Grading Assistant. His latest digital project Xenophil is an app to provide co-/extra-curricular opportunities for remote international engagement by students from different (tertiary) institutions in an educational online environment.

Peter attended his first DEL conference in 2019 and has been on the conference committee since.
