Cynthia Lawson Jaramillo is a Brooklyn-based Colombian digital artist, technologist and educator. Since 2003 she has worked at The New School where she is currently Associate Professor of Integrated Design at Parsons’ School of Design Strategies. Her research and teaching focus on issues of design education, technology, and social impact.

Cynthia has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá) and a Master’s in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University’s ITP. She lives in possibly the smallest neighborhood in Brooklyn, Greenwood Heights.

She attended the 2014 conference in San Marcos, Texas; joined the organizing committee in 2015; and hosted DeL 2016 in New York City.
